Erin of Ways

An Irish or Celtic Goddess be Erin of the Ways. I understand that "the Ways" means much to those of us following a positive pagan path. However many sources we take as our guide, we learn to mould them into one magical path forward into the future of humanity. Imagine a ball of clay, pieces break away as you mould and because of the nature of the clay we can happily smooth out the edges and make the finished piece whole again!

Erin of the Ways is a Goddess of Britain that is still celebrated and I imagine was one to walk the song lines, the Earth energy lines indeed as we now call them the ley-lines of this beautiful country of ours.
As we celebrated times of the seasonal year such as Summer Solstice or Litha, we travelled far and wide to meet up at such places as Stonehenge for a gathering to sing about. The travellers would sing their way around Britain much as Bards still do to this day and sing the Earth alive. It is of Erin we wimmin would sing at this Solstice time of year as She is celebrated with others at this special time of  summer's  peak.

I imagine Her, our Erin of the Ways, with bright shining golden red hair and a big smile. I feel She was and is One to celebrate the way of Celts to their strongest power. A peaceful Goddess celebrated in times of peace such as Solstice when all were together as one. I believe life is like a rainbow full of many beautiful colours and people are much the same. Erin teaches us that whatever path we walk we will all end up at the same destination. Indeed to be whole we need to be true to our heart and this gives us the beginnings of finding our personal path. A path of a heart!
